  1. Dinnertime at the June 28, 1998 Porter family reunion 77.2K
  2. Some Porters at the family reunion, left to right: genealogist, organizer and speaker Hershell, with his uncle (the reunion host) James E., and Dr. Larry, a gastroenterologist at a clinic in Rock Hill, SC - 118.3k
  3. The following are different scans of a copy of the same photograph of "Indian James" Tillet Porter's daughter Ugenia Porter and her husband "Cracker", "who ran a grits mill and could jump up in the air and click his heals together three times before landing".
Ugenia and her family - 351.7K
Ugenia and her family - 551.9K
Ugenia and her family - 495.8K
I recognize no Mongoloid Indian features in Ugenia's face (or in any other photographs I have seen of Tillet's descendants), but her hands are darker (faces can be powdered), which is consistent with my theory of Tillet's racial origins:
  4. The replacement tombstone of James Tillet Porter and Margaret Vincent - 479.7K
